Water Damage May Require Reconstruction

Water damage from a leaking kitchen sink may cause damage to cabinets, floors, and the basement. Notice the flooring is beginning to curl from water saturation. 

In the after picture you can see that the cabinets, counters, plumbing, and flooring all needed to be removed due to damage and in order to completely dry the structure.
